Great coffee, cozy vibes, but be ready to stand

The Milkman has carved out a solid reputation on Cockburn Street, and for good reason. Their coffee is genuinely excellent—the mocha and cappuccino are rich, well-balanced, and clearly made with care. The pastries, especially the blueberry almond croissant and the decadent plum pastry, are worth the visit on their own. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find a mix of locals grabbing their morning fix and tourists discovering a hidden gem in the Old Town.

That said, it’s not perfect. The space is small, and during busy times it can feel cramped and rushed. If you’re looking for a place to linger over a laptop or have a long conversation, you might find the limited seating and fast-paced atmosphere a bit frustrating. But for a quick, high-quality coffee and pastry stop, it’s hard to beat.
