The Auld Shillelagh is the real deal—a proper Irish pub that doesn't try too hard. You walk in and immediately feel like you've stepped into a piece of home, even if you're not Irish. What really sets it apart is the live music—every other Thursday and Friday at 9pm, you'll find genuine Irish seisiún sessions that get the whole place singing along.
The staff are incredibly friendly and know their regulars by name. They'll bring your Guinness right to your table so you don't have to wait at the bar, which is a nice touch. The beer garden is surprisingly spacious for such a narrow street, making it perfect for summer evenings. Just be warned: it gets packed on weekends, so arrive early if you want a table. No bookings are taken, so it's first-come, first-served.

La vraie magie opère les jeudis et vendredis soirs à 21h, quand les sessions de musique irlandaise traditionnelle commencent et que tout le monde se met à chanter. C'est le genre d'endroit où vous finissez par connaître les serveurs par leur prénom.
Le service est d'une convivialité rare : ils vous apportent votre Guinness directement à table, pas besoin d'attendre au bar. Le jardin de bière est étonnamment spacieux pour une rue aussi étroite, parfait pour les soirées d'été. Attention, ça devient très fréquenté le week-end, donc arrivez tôt si vous voulez une table.
