Gangnam is exactly the kind of spot Pantin needed—a genuine Korean restaurant that doesn't try to be something it's not. The BBQ is the star here, with generous portions that are meant for sharing, and the flavors hit the spot without needing to drown everything in extra sauce. I've had the vegan beef bibimbap and it was solid, though I'd recommend asking about ingredients if you're strictly vegan since the menu doesn't clearly mark everything and there can be hidden fish sauce or dairy in dishes that seem plant-based.
The space itself is a nice touch—there's a glassed-in porch that feels cozy even on cooler days, plus a large outdoor terrace that's perfect when the weather's good. Service is friendly, though if you're particular about dietary restrictions, don't hesitate to ask questions; the kitchen staff may not speak French fluently so having someone who can translate helps. Le BBQ est la star ici, avec des portions généreuses à partager, et les saveurs sont au rendez-vous sans qu'il faille noyer les plats dans des sauces. J'ai essayé le bibimbap au boeuf végétal et c'était correct, mais je conseille de poser des questions sur les ingrédients si vous êtes strictement végétalien, car le menu ne signale pas tout clairement et il peut y avoir du poisson ou du lait caché dans des plats qui semblent végétaux.
L'espace est un vrai plus—il y a une véranda vitrée qui fait confortable même les jours plus frais, et une grande terrasse extérieure parfaite quand il fait beau. Le service est sympathique, mais si vous avez des restrictions alimentaires précises, n'hésitez pas à poser des questions ; le personnel de cuisine ne parle peut-être pas bien français, donc avoir quelqu'un qui peut traduire aide.
