Café Baier, c'est un peu de Vienne posé en plein Steglitz. Dès qu'on franchit la porte, le brouhaha de la Schloßstraße s'efface : ornement Jugendstil, escalier en colimaçon, et surtout, cette vitrine garnie de gâteaux maison qui donne immédiatement envie de s'asseoir. Le décor Belle Époque n'est pas un artifice — les propriétaires ont vraiment soigné ce côté intemporel, et le résultat fonctionne. C'est animé, surtout le week-end, mais c'est précisément ce qui fait le charme de l'endroit : un café de quartier où les gens du coin viennent vraiment.
