Situé en plein cœur de l'ancien Marché de Kingston, ce bâtiment classé Grade II du XVIIe siècle dégage cette authenticité des vieux pubs qu'on ne trouve plus partout. L'intérieur est chaleureux et accueillant avec des meubles en bois traditionnels, et la terrasse est un vrai plus quand il fait beau.
Ce qui distingue vraiment cet établissement, c'est la qualité de la nourriture et des boissons. Les burgers sont vraiment bons—de la vraie viande, bien cuite, avec des frites qui font plaisir. Ils ont aussi une bonne sélection de bières tirées, ce qui est rare pour un pub Greene King. Le personnel est attentionné sans être envahissant, et ils connaissent clairement leurs habitués.
