Dublin’s Best Saturday Market
St. Anne’s Park Market is a Saturday morning institution in Dublin, and for good reason. The sheer variety of stalls—everything from organic meats and fresh produce to artisan baked goods and handmade crafts—means there’s always something to discover. I love grabbing a coffee and a warm pastry from one of the stalls, then wandering through the market with my dog (they even have doggy ice cream, which is a nice touch). The Victorian Red Stables building adds a nice historic backdrop, and the whole vibe is friendly and unpretentious. It’s not the flashiest market in the city, but it’s authentic, well-stocked, and a great way to support local producers.
The only downside is that it can get pretty crowded on nice weekends, especially around mid-morning. If you want to avoid the rush, go early or later in the afternoon. Also, while most stalls are high quality, a few can be a bit overpriced for what you get. Still, if you’re looking for a genuine farmers’ market experience in Dublin, this is the place to be.
