Settimo Parrinello took over in 2021 and kept the soul of the place intact—no pretension, just solid Sicilian food served with genuine warmth. The pasta is clearly made fresh, and if you’re feeling adventurous, try the grilled octopus or the house special pasta. Portions are generous enough to share (or not—we won’t judge), and the staff treats you like family from the moment you walk in. It’s not fancy, but it doesn’t need to be. This is real, honest cooking that reminds you why you fell in love with Italian food in the first place.

Pomo Madou, c’est le genre d’endroit qui vous fait penser à la cuisine de votre grand-mère sicilienne. Depuis que Settimo Parrinello a repris les rênes en 2021, l’âme du restaurant est restée intacte : pas de prétention, juste une cuisine sicilienne authentique servie avec une chaleur humaine rare. Les pâtes sont clairement fraîches, et si vous avez le goût de l’aventure, essayez le poulpe grillé ou la spécialité de la maison. Les portions sont généreuses, parfaites pour partager (ou pas, on ne jugera pas). Le personnel vous traite comme de la famille dès votre arrivée. Ce n’est pas chic, mais ça n’a pas besoin de l’être. C’est une cuisine honnête qui vous rappelle pourquoi vous avez tombé amoureux de la cuisine italienne.
