The siblings behind the counter clearly take pride in what they do: their house-roasted coffee is smooth and aromatic, and the organic bread baked on-site is the star of any sandwich or pastry order. I’ve grabbed a turkey sandwich on their sourdough at the Skånegatan spot and it held up beautifully, with fresh ingredients and just the right amount of crunch.
It’s not flashy, but that’s the point. You won’t find Instagrammable corners or over-the-top decor here—just a clean, welcoming space where locals queue up for their morning fix. Café Pascal, c’est une vraie pépite à Södermalm : simple, chaleureux et ancré dans le quartier. Les trois frères qui tiennent l’affaire font tout eux-mêmes, du torréfaction du café à la cuisson du pain bio sur place. Le café est rond et parfumé, et les sandwichs sur pain maison sont un vrai régal—j’ai testé celui au dinde à Skånegatan, c’était frais et bien garni.
Pas de décor tape-à-l’œil ici, juste un espace propre et accueillant où les locaux se retrouvent pour leur café du matin ou un déjeuner rapide.
