Parc de Procé is one of those rare places in Nantes that actually delivers on its promise of tranquility. Walk in through the main entrance and you’re immediately struck by the scale of it all—12 hectares of thoughtfully landscaped greenery, ancient trees, and winding paths that seem to go on forever. The Babybob playground is the heart of the place; it’s clearly loved by locals, and you’ll see families spending hours there. If you’re visiting with kids, this is your spot. For a quieter experience, head to the far end of the park where the tulip tree stands guard near the manor house.
The floral collections are worth seeking out, especially in spring when the azaleas and camellias are in full bloom. The park’s English garden style gives it a romantic, almost timeless feel, and it’s a great place to lose yourself in nature without leaving the city. Just be aware that it can get busy on weekends, so if you want to enjoy the peace and quiet, go early in the morning or on a weekday.

Le Babybob est au cœur du parc ; c’est clairement un lieu adoré des locaux, et vous verrez des familles y passer des heures. Si vous venez avec des enfants, c’est l’endroit idéal. Pour une expérience plus calme, dirigez-vous vers l’extrémité du parc où le tulipier veille près du manoir.
Les collections florales valent le détour, surtout au printemps lorsque les azalées et les camélias sont en pleine floraison.
