L'ambiance

Orient Lounge has quietly become Leyton's go-to spot for a proper night out that doesn't feel like you've left the neighbourhood. It's the kind of place where you'll find a mix of locals and visitors drawn in by the solid Italian-Mediterranean menu, killer cocktails, and that shisha corner that turns the vibe up a notch after 9pm. Skip the tourist traps on the high street and come here for the bottomless brunch (£60 - yes, it's pricey but you'll leave stuffed) or just a few rounds of their signature cocktails while people-watching from the terrace. The service is genuinely friendly and the atmosphere strikes that sweet spot between polished and unpretentious. It's not fancy-fancy, but it's definitely the kind of place you'd bring friends who need convincing that Leyton has more to offer than just a tube station.

Leyton's new favourite spot for cocktails and good food

Orient Lounge has quietly become Leyton's go-to spot for a proper night out that doesn't feel like you've left the neighbourhood. It's the kind of place where you'll find a mix of locals and visitors drawn in by the solid Italian-Mediterranean menu, killer cocktails, and that shisha corner that turns the vibe up a notch after 9pm. The bottomless brunch is genuinely worth the £60 price tag if you're going with a group - you'll leave stuffed and happy. The service is friendly without being over-the-top, and the space strikes that sweet spot between polished and unpretentious.

It's not the fanciest restaurant in London by any means, but it's exactly what Leyton needed: a place that feels contemporary without trying too hard, serves good food without breaking the bank (unless you go for brunch), and has enough going on to keep the energy up all night. The cocktails are well-crafted and the shisha setup is legitimate - not some afterthought corner. If you're looking for somewhere to celebrate or just unwind with friends, this is it.
