If you’re into vintage, design, or just love digging through other people’s attics, Mercatino di Baggio is your Saturday or Sunday ritual. The market sprawls across Piazza Anita Garibaldi every weekend (except August), and it’s packed with dealers bringing everything from 1950s Italian furniture to Soviet-era knick-knacks. You’ll find genuine mid-century pieces, vintage clothing, old radios, and sometimes even forgotten family heirlooms. It’s not always curated—expect some random junk mixed in—but that’s part of the charm. Come early on a Saturday morning for the best picks, and don’t forget to bargain; vendors expect it.
The atmosphere is lively but not overwhelming. You’ll hear Italian, English, and probably a few other languages as collectors haggle over prices. There’s no food here, but you can grab a coffee nearby before or after browsing. It’s free to enter, and parking is available (though it fills up fast).
