Le Waf is a breath of fresh air in Lille’s café scene — and not just because of the fresh air from all those wagging tails. Le Waf, c’est vraiment une pépite à Lille. Ce n’est pas juste un café, c’est une expérience. Dès que tu entres, tu sens l’ambiance chaleureuse : des chiens qui courent, des gens qui sourient, et toi avec ton café illimité (oui, c’est vrai, tu peux te resservir autant que tu veux). Les bagels maison sont bons, les desserts sont tentants, mais avoue-le : tu es là pour les chiens. Et ils sont tous adorables, avec des personnalités bien à eux. Certains sont timides, d’autres te sautent dessus dès que tu t’assois — c’est le charme du lieu.
Depuis 2016, plus de 200 adoptions ont eu grâce à eux, et tu le sens : ce n’est pas du marketing, c’est du vrai engagement. L’équipe connaît chaque chien par son nom, sait ce qu’il aime, et t’explique tout avec passion. L’espace est cosy, comme un salon, pas comme un commerce. Tu peux rester deux heures, boire ton thé, caresser un golden retriever du nom de Loki, et repartir avec le cœur plein. Même si tu n’es pas fan des chiens, tu repartiras avec le sourire.
