Le Chalet has undergone a stylish transformation under new owner Eric Lagunegrand, turning what was once a traditional bar-tabac into a cozy lounge-style escape on Boulevard des Belges. The space now features calming blue walls, a reimagined garden terrace that feels worlds away from the city center, and an expanded drink menu including IPA options and a growing selection of softs. It's the kind of spot where you can unwind with a drink, play a game of darts, or simply enjoy the calm atmosphere—perfect for a quiet evening or a relaxed catch-up with friends.

A Calm Lounge Escape on Bd des Belges

Le Chalet has found its rhythm since Eric took over, trading orange walls for a soothing blue palette and infusing the space with a genuine lounge vibe. The new garden terrace is the real standout—shaded by trees and furnished with seven intimate tables, it feels like a secret retreat right in the heart of Nantes. Inside, you'll find a well-stocked bar with four beer taps (including a solid IPA), a TV for sports, and a dartboard for some friendly competition. It's not a party venue, but rather a place designed for unwinding, whether you're grabbing a quick beer after work or settling in for a longer conversation.
