Heap's Sausages
“Matches your preference for quiet, immersive environments. This venue's atmosphere aligns with your saved favorites.”
L'ambiance
Tucked away on Nevada Street, Heap's Sausages is Greenwich's answer to a proper deli experience—think artisanal sausages that actually taste like meat, not factory filler. Martin Heap's "Simply Sausages" range is the star here (the Big Heap's Bap with bacon and egg is a morning lifesaver), but don't skip the cheese selection or the hot food takeaway if you're grabbing something quick for the park. It's the kind of place where you'll find locals chatting about what's new in the farm shop section while you decide between the Merguez mash and a classic sausage bap.

Greenwich's Best Sausage Spot
Heap's Sausages feels like a well-kept secret in Greenwich—a no-frills deli that punches way above its weight. The sausages are the main event, and honestly, they're the real deal: Martin Heap clearly knows his craft, using whole cuts of meat and spices that don't scream "processed." The Big Heap's Bap is a proper breakfast meal—generous portions, crispy bacon, and a sausage that actually has texture. If you're in the mood for something heartier, the sausage and mash with buttery mash and onion gravy is comfort food done right.
The shop itself is small but packed with character, lined with shelves of British cheeses, charcuterie, and store cupboard essentials that you won't find in a regular supermarket. It's the kind of place where you pop in for a sausage bap and end up buying a jar of something fancy you'd never normally try. Service is friendly and efficient, though it can get busy around breakfast time on weekends. Just don't expect a sit-down café experience—this is for grabbing quality food and getting on with your day.
