Hang Dai is the kind of place where you come to eat, drink, and make merry in equal measure. The subway carriage seating downstairs is a conversation starter in itself, and the apple woodfired duck is genuinely worth the hype—smoky, tender, and served with a sticky glaze that’ll have you licking your fingers. Don’t expect quiet conversation; the DJs kick in around 9pm and the volume climbs with every round of drinks. If you’re after a proper group dinner where everyone can share and no one has to order their own meal, the €40 or €60 tasting menus are brilliant value. Just don’t book for a romantic evening—you’ll be shouting over the bass.

Hang Dai, c’est le genre d’endroit où l’on vient pour manger, boire et s’amuser en même temps. Les banquettes style wagon de métro en bas sont un vrai clou du spectacle, et le canard fumé au bois de pommier est vraiment à l’image de la réputation du resto : fondant, fumé, avec une sauce collante qui donne envie de se lécher les doigts. Ne venez pas pour une soirée calme : les DJs démarrent vers 21h et le volume monte avec chaque tournée. Si vous cherchez un vrai dîner entre amis où tout le monde partage et personne ne commande seul, les menus dégustation à 40 ou 60 euros sont un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Par contre, évitez la réservation pour une date romantique : vous devrez crier pour vous faire entendre.
