Electric Coffee Company
“Matches your preference for quiet, immersive environments. This venue's atmosphere aligns with your saved favorites.”
L'ambiance
Tucked right outside Ealing Broadway station, Electric Coffee Co. has been a quiet powerhouse of London's specialty coffee scene for over seven years. Husband-and-wife team Simon and Oksana run this no-nonsense operation with a focus on quality over flash—think industrial-chic interiors, a dedicated brew bar where you can watch your pour-over come together, and their own beans roasted in Sussex. It's the kind of place where commuters and locals alike grab a flat white in a classic black cup and actually feel like they've stumbled onto something real. The space itself is a study in light and space: floor-to-ceiling glass fronts let in natural light, while exposed brick, white walls, and bare bulb lighting create that perfect industrial-meets-cozy vibe. Whether you're perching at the window bar to people-watch buses roll by or settling in at the padded bench along the brick wall, there's a sense of calm even during the morning rush. And if you're feeling fancy, their own-roasted beans—now under the Electric Coffee Co. brand—are worth taking home, with everything from smooth Brazilian nuts to complex Kenyan acidity.

Solid specialty coffee in a no-nonsense setting
Electric Coffee Co. is the kind of place that doesn't need to shout to be noticed. Right outside Ealing Broadway station, it's become a go-to for anyone who actually cares about their coffee. The space is surprisingly peaceful despite the foot traffic—white walls, exposed brick, and plenty of natural light make it feel open and airy. You can watch your coffee being made at the brew bar, which adds a nice touch of theater to the experience.
The coffee itself is consistently excellent. Their own-roasted beans are a real draw, with a range of single origins and blends that show real attention to detail. I've had their flat whites here multiple times and they're always perfectly pulled—creamy, well-balanced, and served in a classic black cup that just works. The staff are knowledgeable without being pretentious, and they'll happily explain the tasting notes if you ask.
It's not the fanciest spot in London, but that's part of its charm. There's no pretense here, just good coffee and a space that feels like it belongs to the neighborhood. Perfect for a quick morning brew before work or a leisurely coffee while you people-watch from the window bar.
