Coffeeology is the kind of place that reminds you why you fell in love with specialty coffee in the first place. Located just a stone's throw from Richmond's bustling high street but tucked into a peaceful little alley, it's a proper escape from the tourist crowds. Luca and his team clearly know their stuff—the coffee is consistently excellent, whether you're after a classic espresso or something more adventurous like a V60 or Chemex. The beans are carefully sourced and roasted, and you can taste the difference in every cup.
The space itself is intimate, almost cozy to the point of being cramped during peak hours, but that's part of the charm. There's a pleasant outdoor area that's perfect for people-watching on a sunny afternoon, and the interior has that warm, lived-in feel you get at places that locals actually love. The music can get a bit loud sometimes, making it less ideal for deep work, but it's great for catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet read with your coffee. Don't expect Wi-Fi if you're planning to camp out for hours—this is a place to enjoy your coffee, not to plug in and disappear.

Coffeeology, c'est ce genre d'endroit qui vous rappelle pourquoi vous êtes tombé amoureux du café de spécialité. Situé à deux pas de la rue commerçante animée de Richmond, mais niché dans une petite ruelle paisible, c'est une véritable évasion loin des foules touristiques. Luca et son équipe maîtrisent parfaitement leur art : le café est toujours excellent, que vous optiez pour un espresso classique ou quelque chose de plus aventureux comme un V60 ou un Chemex. Les grains sont soigneusement sélectionnés et torréfiés, et on sent la différence à chaque tasse.
L'espace est intime, presque cosy au point d'être un peu serré aux heures de pointe, mais c'est aussi ce qui fait son charme. Il y a une agréable terrasse parfaite pour observer les passants un après-midi ensoleillé, et l'intérieur a cette chaleur authentique que l'on trouve dans les lieux aimés des locaux. La musique peut parfois être un peu forte, ce qui le rend moins idéal pour travailler en profondeur, mais c'est parfait pour discuter entre amis ou profiter d'un moment de calme avec son café. Ne comptez pas sur le Wi-Fi si vous prévoyez de passer des heures sur place : c'est un endroit pour savourer son café, pas pour se brancher et disparaître.
