The Camden Head is a solid choice if you're looking for a traditional pub experience without the pretension. Built in 1899, the Grade II listed building has retained much of its Victorian character, from the etched glass windows to the warm, welcoming interior. It's clearly a neighborhood staple - you'll see regulars at the bar, families with kids at the tables, and plenty of dogs lounging around (they're genuinely dog-friendly here).
The food is what you'd expect from a Greene King pub: reliable pub classics done well. The Sunday roast is particularly good if you're visiting on that day, and the beer garden is a nice touch when the weather cooperates. Service is friendly and efficient, though it can get busy on weekends. It's not fancy, but it's honest, comfortable, and has that genuine local pub feel that's becoming harder to find.

Le Camden Head est un choix solide si vous cherchez une expérience de pub traditionnelle sans le côté prétentieux. Construit en 1899, cet établissement classé Grade II a conservé une grande partie de son caractère victorien, des vitraux gravés à l'intérieur chaleureux et accueillant. C'est clairement un repaire de quartier - vous y verrez des habitués au bar, des familles avec enfants aux tables, et beaucoup de chiens qui traînent (ils sont vraiment bienvenus ici).
La nourriture correspond à ce qu'on attend d'un pub Greene King : des classiques du pub bien exécutés. Le roast du dimanche est particulièrement bon si vous visitez ce jour-là, et le jardin de bière est une belle touche quand la météo le permet. Le service est amical et efficace, bien que cela puisse être bondi le week-end. Ce n'est pas chic, mais c'est honnête, confortable, et possède cette vraie ambiance de pub de quartier qui devient de plus en plus difficile à trouver.
