Black Sheep is the kind of place that feels like a secret you’re not supposed to know about. It’s tiny—like, you’ll be elbow-to-elbow with other patrons tiny—but that’s part of the charm. The owners, Brian and Jennifer, clearly know their stuff when it comes to Portuguese wines, and they’ve built a selection that focuses on small producers and natural wines. You won’t find a huge list here, but what they do have is carefully chosen and worth exploring.
The cocktails are equally thoughtful. The Hibiscus Rum Punch is a standout—refreshing, complex, and not too sweet. The space itself is warm and inviting, with soft lighting and a layout that encourages conversation. It’s not the loudest or flashiest spot in Lisbon, but if you’re looking for a genuine wine experience without the pretension, this is it. Just be prepared to wait if it’s busy, because there’s no seating for more than a handful of people.

Black Sheep est le genre d’endroit que vous aimeriez garder pour vous. Minuscule, à peine assez de place pour une douzaine de personnes, mais c’est justement cette intimité qui fait tout son charme. Les propriétaires, Brian et Jennifer, connaissent parfaitement les vins portugais, surtout ceux des petits producteurs et les vins naturels. La carte n’est pas longue, mais ce qu’ils proposent est soigneusement sélectionné et vaut le détour.
Les cocktails maison sont tout aussi réfléchis. Le Hibiscus Rum Punch est un incontournable : rafraîchissant, complexe, pas trop sucré.
