Café Liebermann isn’t trying to be a trendy hot spot—it’s a reliable, well-located café that does the basics very well. Situated inside the Akademie der Künste on Pariser Platz, it’s the ideal place to grab a coffee while admiring the Brandenburg Gate from the terrace, or to duck inside for a quiet lunch away from the crowds. The self-service model means it’s efficient and unpretentious, and the seasonal menu keeps things interesting without overcomplicating things.
What you get is solid coffee, decent pastries, and a setting that feels both cultured and accessible. It’s not fancy, but that’s part of its charm. Locals and tourists alike use it as a pit stop when exploring Mitte, and honestly, it’s one of the better café options in the area.
