It's not trying too hard to be trendy; it just works. The staff are generally charming and welcoming, and there's enough space to spread out whether you're grabbing a quick pint or settling in for a proper meal.
Food-wise, they've got a solid menu that really shines on Sundays with their roast—crispy skin, proper Yorkshire puddings, the works. But even on a weekday, the pub feels perfectly set up for a casual drink. Il ne cherche pas à être trop tendance ; il fait simplement les choses bien. Le personnel est généralement charmant et accueillant, et il y a assez d'espace pour se détendre que ce soit pour un verre rapide ou un repas complet.
