Superbello is Vanløse's answer to authentic Italian dining, with a stone oven imported directly from Naples baking their sourdough pizzas to perfection. The space feels genuinely welcoming—think warm lighting, exposed brick, and that unmistakable aroma of fresh dough and basil drifting from the kitchen. Skip the tourist traps and come here for their antipasti platters and house-made pasta, then wash it down with one of their carefully curated Italian wines.
Authentic Naples pizza in Vanløse
Superbello has quietly become Vanløse's go-to for genuine Italian food, and it's not hard to see why. The star of the show is undoubtedly their pizza—baked in a stone oven imported straight from Naples, the crust has that perfect char and chew you'd expect from the real deal. I'm particularly fond of their margherita, simple but executed flawlessly, though the seasonal specials often surprise with creative toppings.
The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between lively and intimate. It's the kind of place where you can have a proper conversation without shouting over the music, yet there's still enough energy to feel like you're part of something. The wine list is thoughtfully curated with Italian labels you won't find everywhere, and the staff clearly knows their stuff.
My only critique is that the menu is somewhat limited compared to bigger Italian spots in central Copenhagen, but this actually works in their favor—they focus on doing a few things really well rather than spreading themselves thin. Come early on weekends if you want a table, or just enjoy the bar area for a quick drink and aperitivo.
