Le Petit Bon Bon is Christophe Hardiquest's playful, more intimate take on his iconic Bon Bon, bringing bold Belgian brasserie classics with a fresh twist to the Quartier des Libertés. Think family-style "Big Meal" dishes like satay-spiced rotisserie chicken or melting pork knuckle, served in a relaxed setting that's perfect for unhurried evenings. It's the spot when you want refined flavors without the formality—just good food, great service, and a vibe that feels like a local favorite.
Playful brasserie with bold flavors
Le Petit Bon Bon is Christophe Hardiquest's spirited sibling to his Michelin-starred Bon Bon, and it hits all the right notes for a modern Belgian brasserie. The concept is simple but effective: take classic dishes, give them a playful twist with bold flavors, and serve them family-style in a relaxed, unpretentious setting. The "Big Meal" format is the star here—start with the Le Poulet Rôti, a rotisserie chicken seasoned with Chinese satay spices, served with fries, apple compote, and salad. It's comfort food elevated, and the whole chicken (€58) is perfect for sharing.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a vibe that feels more like a neighborhood spot than a high-end restaurant. Service is attentive without being fussy, and the kitchen clearly takes pride in every plate. While it's still early days, the potential is obvious. It's a great spot for after-work drinks and dinner, or a weekend gathering with friends. Just be sure to book ahead, especially for larger groups.
