Fuse is the real deal for anyone who wants to experience Brussels' underground techno scene. The venue itself is iconic—a converted cinema with three distinct floors, each with its own energy. The sound system is genuinely impressive; you'll feel the bass reverberating through your body, not just hear it. What really sets it apart is the consistency. They've been hosting top-tier DJs since 1994, and the lineup reflects that credibility. You'll see names like Oscar Mulero, Ilian Tape, and the Zenker Brothers regularly.
That said, it's not for everyone. The cash-only policy can be annoying if you're used to contactless payments. The locker system is coin-operated (€2 per use), and the smoking area means you'll be breathing secondhand smoke if you're not careful. The crowd is predominantly local and techno-savvy, which is great if you're into the scene, but tourists might feel out of place.
