Vino Vero opened in 2019 and quickly became the kind of place Lisbon's wine scene needed: a dedicated natural wine bar that takes the category seriously without taking itself too seriously. Run by an Italian couple on Travessa do Monte—one of Graça's friendliest little streets—it's tucked away from the tourist circuits, which gives it a real neighborhood feel. The selection leans heavily on Portuguese producers, which is great if you want to explore what's happening in domestic natural winemaking, but you'll also find interesting bottles from elsewhere in Europe.
What makes Vino Vero work is the staff. They genuinely know their stuff and will happily talk you through options based on what you like—no eye-rolls, no wine-speak lectures, just honest enthusiasm. Tenu par un couple italien sur Travessa do Monte, l'une des rues les plus conviviales de Graça, l'endroit est à l'écart des circuits touristiques, ce qui lui donne un vrai charme de quartier. La sélection met fortement l'accent sur les producteurs portugais, une excellente occasion de découvrir ce qui se fait dans le vin naturel au Portugal, avec quelques pépites venues d'ailleurs en Europe.
