The Real Deal for Techno Purists
Tresor is the real deal for anyone serious about techno. I've been going since the early days, and while it's changed locations, the commitment to quality sound and booking legendary DJs hasn't wavered. The three floors each have their own vibe—the main floor can get packed and loud, but there's always space to find your groove. Just don't expect to have a conversation; the sound system is too powerful for that.
The industrial setting in the old heating plant gives it an authentic underground feel that you can't replicate. It's not fancy, it's not trying to be, and that's exactly why it works. The crowd is a mix of locals who know what they're doing and tourists who've done their homework. If you're looking for a polished, pretentious club experience, go elsewhere. But if you want to feel the bass in your chest and dance until your feet hurt, this is where you need to be.

Tresor, c'est l'église du techno berlinois. Je viens ici depuis les débuts, et même après le déménagement dans cette ancienne centrale thermique en 2007, la qualité sonore et la programmation de DJs légendaires n'ont jamais faibli. Les trois étages offrent chacun une ambiance différente—le niveau principal peut être bondé et bruyant, mais on trouve toujours son espace pour danser. Préparez-vous : avec ce système audio, la conversation est impossible, et c'est tant mieux.
Le cadre industriel dans cette ancienne usine de chauffage donne à l'endroit cette authenticité underground qu'on ne trouve nulle part ailleurs. Ce n'est pas chic, ce n'est pas prétentieux, et c'est exactement ce qui fait son charme. La foule mélange des locaux qui connaissent le terrain et des touristes qui ont fait leurs recherches. Si vous cherchez un club poli et sophistiqué, tournez-vous ailleurs. Mais si vous voulez sentir les basses dans votre poitrine et danser jusqu'à ce que vos pieds douloureux, c'est ici qu'il faut aller.
