The Stables Bar at the Milestone Hotel is one of those London spots that manages to feel both timeless and fresh. Housed in a building that was once actual stables, the space has been transformed into something rather special - dark wood paneling, plush leather banquettes, and tartan touches create a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere. The conservatory area lets in beautiful natural light during the day, while moodier lighting takes over in the evening. What really sets this place apart is the attention to detail: Belgian sporting artist Elie Lambert's paintings add character, and the mixology team clearly takes pride in their craft.
The food menu from Executive Chef Daniel Putz elevates typical bar fare - think prawns and steak served as shareable small plates that actually taste as good as they look.
