A proper pub with character and warmth

The Queens Head in Weybridge is that rare find – a traditional pub that doesn't feel stuck in the past. The Grade II-listed building dating from the 1700s has been lovingly maintained, with three log fires creating a genuinely warm atmosphere even on the coldest evenings. You'll find locals mixing with visitors, all drawn to the combination of characterful surroundings and quality food and drink.

The menu focuses on fresh, seasonal ingredients with classics done properly. The Sunday roast is legendary among regulars, and if you're feeling adventurous, the mussels are a standout starter. The wine list is thoughtfully curated without being pretentious, and the pints are always perfectly poured. It's the kind of place where you can drop in for a quick drink after work or stay for hours over dinner.

What really sets it apart is the genuine hospitality. The staff clearly take pride in their work, and the overall vibe feels authentic rather than manufactured. Yes, there's no on-site parking (road parking only), but that's a minor inconvenience in exchange for a proper pub experience in the heart of Weybridge.
