Solid pub with legendary pizza and live music
The Pelton Arms is the kind of pub you keep coming back to because it just gets everything right. The Wandercrust pizza is genuinely some of the best in London—chewy dough, blistered crust, and a tomato base that actually tastes like tomatoes. Don't overthink it: Margherita or American Psycho, both are solid. The atmosphere is comfortable and unpretentious, with that old-school pub feel that's hard to find these days.
Live music is the real draw here, especially on Wednesday Wayward Wednesdays and weekend shows. It gets packed, so if you're serious about seeing a band, book ahead or be prepared to perch on the wall outside overlooking the river. The staff are friendly, the drinks are decent, and it's a proper local haunt rather than a tourist trap. Perfect for a laid-back night out without the pretension.

Le Pelton Arms est ce genre d'endroit où l'on revient encore et encore parce qu'il fait tout simplement bien les choses. La pizza Wandercrust est vraiment l'une des meilleures de Londres—une pâte moelleuse avec une croûte bien brûlée, et une base tomate qui a vraiment du goût. Pas besoin de se compliquer la vie : Margherita ou American Psycho, les deux sont excellents. L'ambiance est confortable et sans prétention, avec cette touche de pub traditionnel qu'on a de plus en plus de mal à trouver.
Les soirées avec groupes en direct sont le vrai point fort, surtout les mercredis Wayward Wednesdays et les concerts du week-end. Ça devient bondé, donc si vous voulez vraiment voir un concert, réservez à l'avance ou contentez-vous de vous asseoir sur le mur à l'extérieur, face à la rivière. Le personnel est sympathique, les boissons sont correctes, et c'est un vrai repaire local plutôt qu'une attraction touristique. Parfait pour une soirée détendue sans le côté prétentieux.
