The Cricketers is one of those rare pubs that's managed to stay relevant for over 250 years without losing its soul. Located right on The Green, it's the perfect spot to people-watch on a sunny afternoon or catch a rugby match at Twickenham. The atmosphere is genuinely buzzy without being overwhelming, and you'll see a mix of locals, rugby fans, and families all sharing the space comfortably.
The food is straightforward pub fare done well—the new Prix Fixe menu offers good value at £18 for two courses or £22 for three, and it's available from 12-8pm Monday through Thursday. Don't miss Wing Wednesday if you're around: five full wings for £5 is an absolute bargain, and they let you add more for just £1 per wing. The beer selection is solid, and the staff seem to actually enjoy working here, which makes a real difference.
