The Black Lion has carved out a solid reputation in West Hampstead as the kind of pub where locals actually hang out. The split-level beer garden is genuinely one of the best spots in the area during summer, especially as the sun sets over it.
Food-wise, they’ve got a solid menu with some standout deals. The Wing Wednesday promotion is a no-brainer if you’re into spicy wings, and the Prix Fixe lunch menu offers great value for a quick midday bite. Don’t sleep on the Rockeoke nights either—live bands every Friday and Saturday turn the place into a proper party, and the energy is infectious.

Le jardin arrière en deux niveaux est vraiment l’un des meilleurs endroits de la région en été, surtout quand le soleil se couche.
Au niveau de la nourriture, ils proposent une carte solide avec des offres intéressantes. Le Mercredi des ailes (Wing Wednesday) est un must pour les amateurs de piments, et le menu Prix Fixe du midi offre un excellent rapport qualité-prix.
