The Beehive

The Beehive is the kind of pub that knows exactly what it is and doesn't try to be anything else — and that's precisely why people love it. This Grade II listed building, with its Brewer's Tudor facade and dark wood-panelling inside, has real character. You've got two separate bars, a side room, and a genuinely good-sized beer garden out back that's a godsend in summer. On a normal afternoon it's a relaxed, spacious spot with a solid selection of draught ales and classic pub food — the fish and chips comes up again and again in reviews, and the kitchen stays open all day, which is rarer than it should be in this part of London.

Where The Beehive really comes alive, though, is matchdays. It's widely known as the best spot in Tottenham for Spurs games, home or away, and the atmosphere is properly electric without tipping into chaos. The staff handle the crowds impressively well — pints flow, burgers come out fast, and the whole thing runs like clockwork. If Spurs are playing, get there early. If they're not, it's a lovely quiet pint with a roast on a Sunday (stadium schedule permitting). The team behind the bar are genuinely warm, which goes a long way in making this feel like a true community pub rather than just a sports bar with old bones.
