Let's be honest: Teatro Kapital is not where Madrid's locals go for an authentic night out. It's a tourist-heavy mega-club where study-abroad students and backpackers converge to dance until 6am across seven floors of a converted theater on Calle de Atocha. Entry runs €25-30 (including one drink), and the security team takes the "right of admission" policy seriously — dress up or risk being turned away.
That said, the concept is genuinely fun if you embrace it for what it is. Each floor plays a different genre: reggaeton and commercial pop on the main floor, hip-hop and R&B on another, techno and house higher up, plus a karaoke room and a cinema floor screening music videos. The rooftop terrace offers decent views of the Madrid skyline, though it gets uncomfortably packed by 2am. C'est une méga-boîte prisée par les touristes, où les étudiants Erasmus et les backpackers du monde entier convergent pour danser jusqu'à 6h du matin, sur sept étages d'un ancien théâtre de la Calle de Atocha. L'entrée coûte entre 25 et 30€ (avec une boisson incluse), et les videurs appliquent strictement le « droit d'admission » — habillez-vous bien ou risquez de vous faire refuser à la porte.
Cela dit, le concept est vraiment sympa si on l'accepte pour ce qu'il est.
