St. Anne’s Park Market (often called the Red Stables Food Market) is Dublin’s biggest and most established farmers’ market, tucked away in the historic Red Stables courtyard in Raheny. Every Saturday from 10am to 4pm, you’ll find over 50 stalls offering everything from organic meat and fresh produce to artisan cheeses, handmade chocolates, and freshly baked bread. It’s the perfect spot for a leisurely Saturday morning stroll, grabbing a coffee and pastry, or picking up unique gifts and local flowers. The vibe is relaxed and community-focused, with a mix of locals, families, and even dog owners (yes, there’s doggy ice cream!). The Victorian setting adds a touch of charm, and the variety of stalls means you’ll always discover something new. Whether you’re stocking up on fresh ingredients, hunting for a special treat, or just enjoying the outdoor atmosphere, this market delivers a genuine slice of Dublin’s foodie scene.
Dublin’s Best Saturday Market
St. Anne’s Park Market is a Saturday morning institution in Dublin, and for good reason. The sheer variety of stalls—everything from organic meats and fresh produce to artisan baked goods and handmade crafts—means there’s always something to discover. I love grabbing a coffee and a warm pastry from one of the stalls, then wandering through the market with my dog (they even have doggy ice cream, which is a nice touch). The Victorian Red Stables building adds a nice historic backdrop, and the whole vibe is friendly and unpretentious. It’s not the flashiest market in the city, but it’s authentic, well-stocked, and a great way to support local producers.
The only downside is that it can get pretty crowded on nice weekends, especially around mid-morning. If you want to avoid the rush, go early or later in the afternoon. Also, while most stalls are high quality, a few can be a bit overpriced for what you get. Still, if you’re looking for a genuine farmers’ market experience in Dublin, this is the place to be.
