SOL brings the famous cinnamon rolls from Tinos to central Athens, with a bright, minimalist space on Praxitelous that feels like a breath of island air. The brothers behind it all put in the work themselves—dough starts at 5am, and the result is these exuberant, oversized rolls that are almost too beautiful to eat. It’s a spot for slow mornings, sweet treats, and maybe a savoury roll if you’re feeling adventurous.
Cinnamon rolls with island soul
If you’ve been to Tinos, you know the legend of these cinnamon rolls. SOL has brought that magic to Athens, and honestly, it’s worth the trip to the city center just for them. The space is simple but lovely—white walls, marble from the island, and plenty of light that makes you want to linger over your coffee. The rolls are massive, fluffy, and come in a range of flavors: classic, pistachio cream, chocolate Oreo, and even a cheesecake version. Don’t skip the savoury ones either, especially the one with three cheeses or the pesto-mozzarella-tomato combo.
