Solid neighborhood spot with traditional charm

The new management from Robbengatter has respected the tradition while updating the menu with some nice touches. I particularly recommend the stuffed zucchini topped with cheddar-mozzarella—it's a standout dish that shows they're putting thought into the offerings. The breakfast is also solid, with a good selection and friendly, efficient service.
The atmosphere is warm and unpretentious, perfect for a relaxed meal without any pressure. It's not the most exciting place in Berlin, but that's not what it's going for. Le Schollenkrug est ce genre d'établissement qui semble faire partie du quartier depuis toujours, et c'est exactement l'ambiance qu'on ressent en entrant. La nouvelle direction de Robbengatter a respecté la tradition tout en modernisant un peu la carte. Je recommande particulièrement la courgette farcie au cheddar et mozzarella—c'est un plat qui montre qu'ils soignent leur offre. Le petit-déjeuner est également correct, avec un bon choix et un service amical et efficace.
L'atmosphère est chaleureuse et sans prétention, parfaite pour un repas détendu sans pression. Ce n'est pas l'endroit le plus excitant de Berlin, mais c'est pas ce qu'ils recherchent. C'est un lieu de quartier fiable où vous savez ce que vous obtenez : une nourriture solide, un bon service et un environnement confortable.
