Solid Vietnamese spot, now closed
Pho Vincennes was a straightforward Vietnamese restaurant that did what it set out to do: serve solid pho and traditional dishes without pretension. The menu offered a good range of options from spring rolls and steamed dumplings to the signature beef rice bowl and their special soup. It wasn't the most exciting spot in Paris, but for a quick, honest meal in Vincennes, it got the job done reliably.
The restaurant had a loyal local following, particularly among evening diners who appreciated the consistent quality and reasonable prices. The atmosphere was simple and unpretentious - you came here for the food, not the decor. Unfortunately, it closed permanently in May 2024, leaving a small gap in Vincennes' Vietnamese dining scene.
