Paddo brings the Antipodean brunch vibe to Lille with seriously good coffee and pancakes that don't oversweeten. You'll find two locations in the city, both serving up ricotta pancakes, matcha lattes, and an açaí bowl that's a steal at this price point. It's one of the few non-chain spots still open on Sundays, making it a go-to for lazy weekend mornings.
Antipodean brunch vibes with excellent coffee
Paddo Café is easily one of the best brunch spots in Lille, bringing a genuine Antipodean feel to the city. The ricotta pancakes are perfectly balanced—sweet but not cloying—and the flat white is genuinely excellent. I tried the açaí bowl at one location and it was fantastic value, packed with thick coconut yogurt and fresh toppings. What really sets Paddo apart is that it's one of the few quality non-chain cafes still open on Sundays, which is rare in Lille. Both locations (19 rue du Cirque and 72 rue Pierre Mauroy) maintain the same high standard, so you can't go wrong whichever you pick. The vibe is relaxed and local, with a playlist that keeps things upbeat without being loud.
