Nū is Lille’s answer to high-altitude dining, and it delivers on the hype. The rooftop setting is genuinely spectacular—sitting up there with a cocktail in hand while watching the city spread out below feels like you’ve escaped the ground-level hustle. The menu plays with French terroir but isn’t afraid to go global, and the cocktails are a real highlight: think complex flavors, beautiful presentation, and a commitment to sustainability that actually matters. Service is friendly and attentive without being stuffy, which helps keep the vibe relaxed even when it’s packed.

It’s not perfect. On busy nights, especially weekends, the noise level can climb high enough that conversation becomes a challenge if you’re not seated near the edge. And while the food is solid and creative, it’s not quite at the level of Lille’s most serious fine-dining spots—this is more about the experience than culinary perfection. But for a night out that combines great views, good drinks, and a lively atmosphere, Nū is hard to beat.

Ce n’est pas parfait. Les soirs de week-end, surtout quand il y a du monde, le bruit peut monter assez haut pour rendre la conversation difficile si vous n’êtes pas près du bord. Et bien que la cuisine soit solide et créative, elle n’atteint pas le niveau des établissements les plus sérieux de Lille en matière de gastronomie fine—ici, c’est plus l’expérience qui compte que la perfection culinaire. Mais pour une sortie qui allie superbes vues, bonnes boissons et ambiance festive, Nū est difficile à battre.
