Motiv

Motiv has become my go-to coffee stop whenever I'm in Athens, and honestly, it's rare to find a place that nails both quality and atmosphere. The coffee is consistently excellent—their freddo cappuccino is creamy and perfectly balanced, while the matcha drinks are some of the best I've had in the city. What really sets it apart, though, is the staff. They're genuinely friendly and make you feel welcome, whether you're grabbing a quick takeaway or settling in for a while.

The pastries are another highlight—they're fresh, not the typical day-old stuff you often get at touristy cafes. I've had their croissants and various cakes, and they're always delicious. The space itself is small but cozy, with a few indoor and outdoor seats. It's not the fanciest neighborhood in Athens, but the vibe inside more than makes up for it.
