Lustgarten

The Lustgarten is one of Berlin's most atmospheric public spaces, tucked between the Altes Museum and the Berliner Dom on Museum Island. Its history is as layered as the city itself: originally a 17th-century kitchen garden for the royal palace, it was later turned into a military parade ground before being restored to a park in the 19th century.
