Solid brunch spot with serious coffee
Locals Coffee has carved out a solid niche in De Pijp with a brunch menu that actually delivers on quality. The truffle scrambled eggs are a standout—creamy, well-seasoned, and served on perfectly toasted sourdough. Their coffee program is serious stuff, featuring exclusive filters from Manhattan Coffee Roasters that you won't find elsewhere in the neighborhood. The space itself feels contemporary without being cold, with enough room to spread out but still maintaining that neighborhood café charm.
What I appreciate most is the consistency. I've been here multiple times and the food quality never wavers. The burrata sandwich is another winner—fresh ingredients, good balance of flavors. Service is friendly and efficient without feeling rushed. It's become my regular spot for weekend brunch when I want something better than the typical avocado toast situation.

Locals Coffee s'est imposé comme une valeur sûre dans le quartier de De Pijp. L'espace est moderne sans être froid, avec suffisamment d'espace pour s'installer confortablement tout en gardant cette ambiance de café de quartier. J'apprécie particulièrement la régularité—je suis venu plusieurs fois et la qualité ne varie jamais. Le sandwich burrata est aussi un excellent choix, avec des ingrédients frais et un bon équilibre de saveurs. Service amical et efficace sans être pressant. C'est devenu mon endroit habituel pour le brunch du weekend quand je veux mieux que la simple tartine d'avocat.
