Locals Coffee has carved out a solid niche in De Pijp with a brunch menu that actually delivers on quality. The truffle scrambled eggs are a standout—creamy, well-seasoned, and served on perfectly toasted sourdough. Their coffee program is serious stuff, featuring exclusive filters from Manhattan Coffee Roasters that you won't find elsewhere in the neighborhood. The space itself feels contemporary without being cold, with enough room to spread out but still maintaining that neighborhood café charm.
What I appreciate most is the consistency. I've been here multiple times and the food quality never wavers. The burrata sandwich is another winner—fresh ingredients, good balance of flavors.
