Food-wise, think Australian-inspired small plates, salads, and sandwiches that hit the spot without being fancy. The Gelupo gelato hatch is a serious bonus in summer; don’t leave without trying a scoop.
It’s not perfect, though. Service can drag during peak brunch hours, and the prices lean toward the pricier side for what you’re getting. But honestly, you’re paying for the location and the atmosphere, and those are hard to find elsewhere in Kensington. If you’re looking for a relaxed daytime spot where you can linger without feeling rushed, this is it.

Holland Park Café, c’est l’endroit parfait pour une pause décontractée au cœur de Londres. Niché dans les arches historiques du parc, il dégage une ambiance nature très appréciable. La terrasse est le point fort : prenez un café ou un brunch et installez-vous pour l’après-midi, les enfants ou les chiens courant alentour. La cuisine, inspirée de l’Australie, propose de petites assiettes, salades et sandwiches qui font plaisir sans être prétentieux. Le kiosque à glace Gelupo est un vrai plus en été, à ne pas manquer.
Attention, ce n’est pas parfait. Le service peut être lent aux heures de pointe du brunch, et les tarifs sont un peu élevés pour ce que l’on mange. Mais vous payez surtout pour le cadre et l’atmosphère, deux choses rares à Kensington. Si vous cherchez un lieu détendu où trainer sans être pressé, c’est l’endroit qu’il vous faut.
