Perched on College Green, Hawksmoor Dublin brings its award-winning British steakhouse pedigree to the heart of Dublin’s financial district. The space feels substantial and welcoming—think dark wood, leather booths, and the kind of ambient clatter that says everyone’s having a good time. You’ll find some of the freshest Irish beef dry-aged on-site, served alongside a cocktail list that’s earned its own awards. It’s the kind of place where you come for the Chateaubriand to share, but stay because the wine list keeps you there.
Solid steakhouse with local Irish beef
Hawksmoor Dublin delivers exactly what you’d expect from the brand: solid British steakhouse standards with a local twist. The beef is the star here—dry-aged to perfection and sourced from small Irish farms, you’ll notice the difference in the texture and flavor. I’d start with the steak after eight menu if you’re feeling indulgent; three courses for €75 including a cocktail is a steal for the quality. The Sunday roast upgrade (swap the rump for sirloin) is a must-try if you’re visiting on a weekend. Service is attentive without being fussy, and the location on College Green makes it easy to pop in before or after a show or meeting.
