Tucked on Regent's Park Road in Primrose Hill, Greenberry is the kind of neighbourhood haunt that locals have been coming to since 2012. That bright green awning and gingham tablecloths aren't just cute—they signal a place where you can drop in for everything from fluffy pancakes at 10am to a glass of biodynamic wine by 8pm. The menu's surprisingly flexible, shifting from all-day brunch staples like shakshuka and full English (with veggie options) to an evening a la carte that pulls from global influences without losing its British heart.
Neighbourly charm with flexible all-day dining
Greenberry has that rare neighbourhood cafe energy where you feel like you belong. The space is bright and welcoming, with those classic gingham tablecloths and a green awning that makes it impossible to miss on Regent's Park Road. What really sets it apart is the flexibility—you can swing by for a proper brunch with eggs benedict and homemade granola, then return in the evening for something more adventurous like miso-glazed aubergines or duck à la blood orange. The staff are genuinely friendly, and they've made it clear they welcome well-behaved dogs, which is a huge plus if you're walking through Primrose Hill.
The food is solid without trying too hard. Their brunch menu covers all the bases with creative twists, and the evening menu changes seasonally with an emphasis on quality, ethically sourced ingredients. The wine list is thoughtfully curated by owner Morfudd, with plenty of organic and biodynamic options available by the glass via Coravin. It's not fancy, but it's consistently good—and that's what makes it a local favourite rather than just another tourist trap.
