GlouGlou is a tiny natural wine bar tucked into a corner spot near the Albert Cuypmarkt in De Pijp. The place is small, with posters of wine bottles covering the walls and a few ledge seats inside. Outside, there's a sidewalk canopy strung with garden lights that becomes a prime spot when the weather cooperates. You won't find a massive food menu here—this is about the wine. The staff is knowledgeable and will happily pour you a taste before you commit to a glass.
The wines are all natural, meaning no pesticides, herbicides, or industrial yeast. Some might be funky or cloudy, but that's the point. Ask for something that suits the mood rather than hunting for a specific vintage. It gets crowded on weekend nights, and since they don't take reservations, you might be waiting for a seat. GlouGlou est un petit bar à vins naturels niché dans un coin de De Pijp, non loin du marché Albert Cuyp. L'endroit est intime, avec des affiches de bouteilles de vin qui recouvrent les murs et quelques tabourets le long du comptoir. À l'extérieur, une terrasse couverte ornée de guirlandes lumineuses devient l'endroit idéal par temps clément. Pas de carte de nourriture élaborée ici : l'essentiel, c'est le vin.
