Industrial warehouse pub with live music
The Fox Excel is a unique spot in Silvertown, housed in a beautifully restored Grade II listed tobacco warehouse. The industrial heritage is still visible in the brickwork and beams, giving it a distinctive character that you won't find in typical chain bars. It's a massive venue with a 1200-person capacity, so it can get very crowded, especially on weekends when there's live music or a DJ.
The food and drink menu is solid pub fare with a good selection of cocktails and beers. The Friday 2-for-1 cocktail and pizza deal is a real draw and brings in a lively crowd. While it's right next to ExCeL and can feel touristy during exhibitions, locals know it as a proper East London pub for a night out. The atmosphere is energetic and loud, perfect for groups celebrating or catching live performances.

Le patrimoine industriel est toujours visible dans la brique et les poutres, lui donnant un caractère distinctif que vous ne trouverez pas dans les bars de chaînes habituels. C'est un vaste lieu avec une capacité de 1200 personnes, donc cela peut devenir très bondé, surtout le week-end quand il y a de la musique live ou un DJ.
