Bar Etna feels like a secret discovery tucked away on rue Mazarine. The space is intimate and welcoming, with that distinctive canoe-shaped bar that becomes the centerpiece of the room. What really sets it apart is the approach to natural wine—they don't just serve it, they guide you through it. The staff will happily pour you samples until you find something that sings, whether you're leaning toward a bold Sardinian red or something lighter from the Loire Valley.

The food menu is small but thoughtful, designed specifically to pair with wine. You'll find items like truffle gorgonzola, sardines, burrata, and oysters that are perfect for grazing while you explore different bottles. The prices are reasonable for the 6th arrondissement, with glasses starting at €5 and bottles from €20. It's the kind of place where you can easily spend an evening sampling five or six different wines without breaking the bank.

My only critique is that it gets crowded—especially after 7pm when the standing room fills up. If you want a seat, you need to arrive early to snag one of those corduroy stools at the standalone tables. But even if you're standing, the atmosphere is so warm and the wine selection so interesting that it's hard to complain.
