Dream Story has quickly become a favourite in Brockley for good reason. The moment you walk in, that powder blue and buttermilk yellow exterior sets a cheerful tone, and the interior lives up to it with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The scrambled eggs are the star here—so buttery and creamy they practically melt on your tongue. Pair them with the merguez lamb sausages for a gentle kick of heat that elevates the whole dish.
The lattes are solid, and the staff are friendly without being overbearing. It's a great spot to settle in with a laptop, though they do have gentle signage asking people not to hog tables during busy times. The only minor gripe is that everything comes in bowls, which makes eating toast a bit awkward—you end up poking at it rather than holding it. Dream Story est rapidement devenu un incontournable de Brockley. Dès l'entrée, la façade bleu poudré et jaune crème donne le ton, et l'intérieur est tout aussi accueillant avec une atmosphère chaleureuse.
