Dolores has been a Berlin staple since 2004, and for good reason. If you're craving a proper California burrito, this is the place to go. The burritos are genuinely massive—think of them as a meal, not a snack. I'm partial to the Vegan Lover, which comes packed with fresh veggies, guacamole, and salsa. The staff moves fast, which is perfect for a quick lunch break, and the outdoor seating is a nice touch when the weather cooperates.
The vegan options are seriously impressive. Seventy percent of the menu is plant-based, which was ahead of its time when they opened and still impressive today. You can customize everything from the protein to the spice level, and the house-made salsas add real depth. It's not fancy, but it's honest, flavorful food that hits the spot every time.
